I Wrote To Zlatan Ibrahimovic – Tottenham Hotspur Man Reveals Retirement News Message
Sweden legend Ibrahimovic recently announced that he is retiring from the game, bowing out as his contract at AC Milan comes to an end.
Tottenham man Kulusevski knows Ibrahimovic and played alongside him for Sweden.
He admits he was not expecting to see Ibrahimovic retire this summer, despite his age, and when he heard had to quickly write him a message.
Kulusevski also took to YouTube when he heard the news, in order to take in a classic Ibrahimovic goal one more time.
“I didn’t think he would stop, but I wrote to him and right after [the news] and just told him to enjoy now and have fun now, what you have done no one else has done. Just enjoy now and do exactly what you want in life”, Kulusevski told Swedish daily Expressen.
“You are always surprised with Zlatan.
“You didn’t know how long he would last.
“But when it [the news] came, it was just straight to YouTube, check Zlatan’s best goal of all time and just enjoy it one last time.”
Ibrahimovic has bowed out of the game with over 500 career goals and spells in Sweden, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, England and the United States to his name.
He made 122 appearances for Sweden on the international stage, hitting the back of the net on 62 occasions.
