How to root for a bad team.
A repeat of a 2017 post that was already reposted once in 2020. I guess the thirty year cycle is inevitable.

I would add college baseball is an alternative, which unfortunately starts and ends too early. And it is dominated by the SEC and ACC, so if you live elsewhere it might be hard to find a team.
In my area there is a summer college league team, the Joplin Outlaws. MINK league. Summer college baseball is fun.
One strategy I did not mention then is fantasy baseball, because I don’t know much about it.
