Diablo 4 – What does code 300202 mean?

Code 300202 is one of the many server errors players can encounter while playing Diablo 4.

It usually shows up when people are trying to log into their Battle.net accounts and getting to their characters.

The code can occur after you request to log in times out, you are disconnected from the server before you reach the character menu.

It can also appear after you select your character or create a new one, and also while queuing to get into Sanctuary.

This is caused by server-side issues, such as Blizzard’s servers being overwhelmed by the number of players trying to log in.

It can also be caused by planned maintenance periods.

Diablo 4 – How to fix the code 300202 error

Unfortunately, as this is usually a server-side hiccup, there are not many ways you can fix the issue personally.

If the problem is simply that the server is overwhelmed then the best idea is to wait a few minutes before trying to log in again.

The other main issue is planned maintenance. You will know this is the case as you will see a message of expected maintenance when you log in to your Battle.net client on PC.

You can also see it on the game’s login screen on console.

There is the case that it could be related to issues on your side, such as drivers and internet connectivity.

Make sure that Diablo 4’s current server status is OK before checking if the issue is at your end.

If the servers are online, try restarting your PC or console, and testing your platform’s internet connection.

There may also be an issue due to outdated network and graphics card drivers on your PC.

Update your drivers and check your connection again to see if this solves the problem.
