With U.S. stock markets shuttered Monday, global stocks slide
NEW YORK, New York - U.S. stock markets were closed on Monday in observance of Juneteenth, however there was plenty of action elsewhere in the world, particularly in Europe and Asia.
In London, the FTSE 100 closed at 7,588.48, showing a decline of 54.24 points or 0.71 percent. The drop was attributed to concerns over global trade tensions and uncertainties.
