Since 2019, Governor DeWine’s H2Ohio initiative has invested in a myriad of ways to achieve improved water quality in northwest Ohio. In addition to 16 wastewater projects, over 700 lead service lines replaced and almost 500 home sewage treatment systems repaired or replaced, the program has helped thousands of farmers find new best practices for nutrient management and implement those practices on 1.5 million acres.
