Fifth Harmony's Lauren Jauregui Claims Elon Musk is 'Destroying' Twitter for Political Reasons
Lauren Jauregui is slamming Elon Musk again.
The 27-year-old Fifth Harmony alum and “More Than That” hitmaker obliterated the billionaire Twitter owner earlier this year over his changing policy on verification.
She took aim once again on Saturday (July 1) after the social media platform limited the number of tweets users could see while doing some work on the backend.
Her latest message is even more brutal than the last and accuses Elon of acting for political reasons.

“I just wanna say Elon destroying twitter ahead of elections is not a coincidence. Especially considering what his obvious political stance is,” Lauren opined in a heated tweet. “This place was one of our most effective organizing tools during 2020 and is where a lot of discourse and accountability happens.”
She continued, saying, “Please understand nothing these billionaires do is ever a coincidence. Slowly but surely is the game, so we are apathetic instead of paying attention. When everything feels random and confusing, just know it is anything but. Just connect the dots.”
Elon‘s latest move on Twitter comes after he announced that two non-offensive words would now be considered “slurs” that could lead to a suspension from Twitter. It was a move that earned the respect of J.K. Rowling.
