AN ELEGANCE whizz has listed the five shoes to get rid of right away, as they will make you look anything but chic.
Style pro Antonia Higham took to TikTok to share her thoughts on some of the latest trends on the high street – and ladies, it’s not good news if you love your comfy Uggs.
According to the whizz, who used to look nothing like what she does now, there are five flat shoes that elegant women should steer clear of at all times.
The first style of footwear that had made it in the video were chunky loafers, especially when paired with white socks.
They may be one of the hottest trends in the fashion world, particularly amongst those into the grunge aesthetic, but for Antonia the heavy shoes were tacky.
The whizz, who posts under the username @antoniahigham, was also not in love with the so-called Yeezys by Ye, formally known as Kanye West.
Despite the hefty price tag – the shoes usually retail between the £200 and £300 mark – Antonia advised against investing your money for the buy.
The elegance guru also recommended to avoid wearing what she called ”sloppy trainers”, such as Panda Dunks by Nike.
Loved by teenagers, influencers and street style fans, these trainers have become all the rage recently – but you will certainly not catch Antonia wearing them any time soon.
The same, she revealed, applies for the cult favourite classic – Dr. Martens – which shoppers have spotted going for half-price at TK Maxx.
Another highly popular footwear that had made it on the list was Uggs, particularly the mini version that took the internet by storm last winter.
Again, the sheepskin booties might keep your feet nice and toasty during the cold months – but according to the style guru, Uggs will only cheapen your appearance.

However, despite Antonia’s recommendations, people on social media disagreed with what she had said and flocked to comments to hit back.
One demanded: ”You leave my docs alone.”
Another added: ”not giving up my docs.”
”Docs are the best in planet im sorry to you elegant ladies [sic],” someone else penned.
A fourth was mortified: ”Did she just call them dunks sloppy trainers, NO SHE DIDN’T.”
