Ravichandran Ashwin, the senior Indian off-spinner, has supported Alex Carey's decision to run out Jonny Bairstow during the second Ashes Test. Bairstow and Ben Stokes were about to form a partnership when Bairstow ventured out of the crease following a slow bouncer. Carey broke the stumps and Bairstow was deemed stumped by the third umpire. England captain, Ben Stokes, expressed his dissatisfaction with the Australian tactic.
