Amid tensions, Alberta distances self from China investments
EDMONTON, Alberta: Reuters has reported that the province of Alberta, Canada suspended a partnership worth $10 billion between public non-profit Alberta Industrial Heartland and Hong Kong-based private equity firm Can-China Global Resource Fund (CCGRF).
The partnership was originally announced in 2016 to encourage investments in the North American natural resources sector.
