Leeds United Star Joining European Heavyweights Considered Unlikely At Present
Koch, who joined the Yorkshire giants in the summer of 2020, is expected to leave Elland Road this summer following Leeds’ relegation to the Championship last season.
He has a relegation clause in his Leeds United contract that will let him leave on a free transfer this summer.
The German has no shortage of suitors in the transfer market, as he is drawing interest from several European outfits as well as from the Premier League.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are interested in signing Koch, but it has been claimed that the player is not interested in joining either of them.
Napoli are set to lose Kim to Bayern Munich and they are in the market for a defender.
And the Serie A outfit are said to be interested in Koch, however the German joining the club is a distant prospect at present, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com.
Last season, Koch made 36 Premier League appearances for Leeds and wants a leadership role at his next club.
