Rangers Giving Target Medical Over Next 48 Hours
The Light Blues had a season to forget last term as they finished the campaign without getting their hands on any silverware.
Ahead of the new season, however, they are looking to replenish the squad with fresh faces and they have already made five signings so far.
They are now about to add freshly-relegated Serie B outfit Cremonese’s 28-year-old frontman Dessers to their squad.
The Ibrox outfit are putting Dessers through his medical paces both today and tomorrow, according to Belgian journalist Sven Claes.
The Glasgow outfit have been trying to agree on a fee for their desired frontman for a while now and they have finally settled on a €5m fee for Dessers.
He played 26 times for the Italian outfit last season in Serie A, scoring six goals in the process.
Dessers has already agreed personal terms on a four-year-long contract with the Scottish club and boss Michael Beale will be hoping he can hit the ground running in the new season.
