Blackpool Considering Swoop For Experienced Attacker

 

Martin, 34, joined Queens Park Rangers in January this year on a short-term deal and has recently been released by the London side.

 

He is said to be expecting a long-term deal with an outfit and several League One clubs are credited with interest in the Scottish forward.

 

 

Now it is suggested that Blackpool are among the sides keen on Martin despite the forward’s talks with QPR over another stint at Loftus Road.

 

The Tangerines were relegated from the Championship last season after having finished the standings in 23rd position and are considering a swoop for Martin.

 

 

Now the Bloomfield Road outfit are hoping to witness an immediate return to the Championship next term amid their plans to reorganise their options in the ongoing transfer window.

 

Adding Martin to the squad could be a boost for Blackpool, but with the 34-year-old attracting significant interest, they would be likely to face competition.

 

 

The jury is still out on where the Scottish forward will end up this summer and it remains to be seen whether the Tangerines will be able to strike a deal with Martin in the ongoing transfer window.
