Indian airline SpiceJet has completed the full repayment of a loan worth Rs 100 crore ($13.4 million) to City Union Bank. The final tranche of Rs 25 crore was paid on June 30, 2023. The payment releases all securities that were pledged with the bank. The repayment follows the successful settlement agreement with Nordic Aviation Capital, a major lessor for SpiceJet's Q400 aircraft, which resolved all past liabilities.
