South Korea economy sees improvements as exports increase
SEOUL, South Korea: In June, South Korea posted its first trade surplus since early 2022, and South Korea's export downturn slowed, especially amid rising auto and semiconductor exports.
Trade ministry data released last week showed that South Korean exports fell just 6.0 percent in June from one year earlier, to $54.24 billion in June, compared with a 15.2 percent decline in May, trade ministry data reported.
