The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and the Automotive Industry Development Centre (AIDC), a subsidiary of the Gauteng Growth and Development Agency, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) related to the local automotive industry. The MoU provides a framework for joint programmes and co-development initiatives with the intent to bolster the global competitiveness of the auto sector.
