Now that the JoBros released what they are categorizing themselves as their seventh studio album, The Album (there was some debate about if it’s their sixth or seventh!), and Kelly Clarkson just dropped a new album, fans were eager to see if their prediction came true.
The Album debuted at No. 3 in May, selling 52,000 in album units and 35,500 in pure sales. Kelly Clarkson‘s new studio album, Chemistry, just debuted at No. 6 and sold 53,000 units, moving 43,000 in pure sales, fans noticed.
As a result, Kelly just narrowly edged out the Jonas Brothers in their fictional chart battle. Then again, it’s not exactly the Year 3000. And fans are still debating if this is technically the JoBros‘ sixth or seventh album.
Regardless, with both parties making albums years later that are still debuting in the Top 10, they’re definitely both winners!
