Katie Price in bitter swipe at her famous exes – saying they put her in therapy
KATIE Price has taken a swipe at her famous exes in a candid new interview.
The three times married star has had a notoriously colourful love life with lavish weddings, bitter break-ups and ongoing feuds.
Now the 45-year-old has revealed she puts her doomed relationships down to events that happened in her early, formative years.
She told OK!: “I learned in therapy that things often stem from your childhood. That’s probably why I’ve jumped from one relationship to the other and it makes sense.
“It’s all rushed and I want it all, the fairytale, and you think you can change people but you can’t. I have made shocking choices with men – that’s it.”
It looked like Katie had that very fairytale at one point when she married Peter Andre in 2005 after hitting it off on I’m A Celebrity a year earlier.
The romance appeared to be her happily ever after following failed relationships with Dwight Yorke and Dane Bowers.
Katie and Peter had two children together – Junior and Princess – and a £1m wedding fit for a Disney Princess, but things fizzled out and the pair had an acrimonious split in 2008.
There was more heartache in the years that followed with Katie divorcing husbands Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler – with whom she had children Jett and Bunny – and she called it quits with former fiancé Kris Boyson, too.
“I’ve realised I’ve had therapy because of men,” said Katie. “If you had my doctor’s report in front of you, it’s men. Imagine how much more successful I would have been if I didn’t have any men in my life.”
Katie recently rekindled her latest relationship with car dealer Carl Woods, 34.
The pair ended their two year romance last month after a turbulent year but appear back on track after some time apart.
