UEFA multi-club ownership probe clears AC Milan, Brighton and Villa for Euro club comps
July 7 – UEFA has cleared the path for Aston Villa, Brighton & Hove Albion and AC Milan to compete in next seasons European club competitions after opening an investigation into their potential conflict under UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules.
Aston Villa have ownership links with Vitória Sport Clube in Portugal, Brighton with Royal Union Saint-Gilloise in Belgium, and AC Milan with Toulouse in France.
None of the associated clubs have qualified for European competitions next season,
