Channel 4 star George Clarke posts rare picture with stunning daughter – and fans all say the same thing
AMAZING Spaces star George Clarke has shared a rare snap with his daughter on social media.
The Channel 4 handyman can be seen on popular renovation shows such as The Home Show and The Restoration Man, with the star sharing a not-so-common photo of him and his daughter on Instagram.
Broadcasting the image on the social media platform to his 200,000 plus followers he can be seen pointing in the image at his daughter Iona who is open mouth smiling.
The image is captioned: “Out for dinner with my unbelievably amazing daughter Iona #Iona.”
The post amassed over 8,000 likes and comments from fans about how lovely they looked and that a daughter and father’s “bond is special” poured in.
One social media user said: “How lovely and what a lucky lady having a great dad like you!!”
Another commented: “I was watching one of your older series of Amazing Spaces. Your daughter was so much younger. Enjoy your daughter, dads always have a special bond with their girls.”
Many commented on their resemblance with a fan adding: “She’s a mini you,” while a second said “Doppelganger”.
“Iona is your double,” another chimed in with other comments stating: “Two peas in a pod!” and “Spitting image.”
Architect George has worked on property for the likes of chef Jamie Oliver and Simon Fuller as part of his company with Bobby Desai – clarke:desai.
Alongside his business and TV career, he has penned several books such as Amazing Spaces and Build a New Life and Home Bible series items including Kitchen And Dining Areas, Bathrooms, and Living Rooms.
The star has started to share more behind-the-scenes style photos of his family this year, with the odd picture of his three children popping up from time to time.
George had three children with his ex-wife Catriona Drummond, and along with Iona they had Georgie and Emilio.
