Barricaded gunman fires on cops after shooting neighbor during argument: reports
Louisiana police are engaged in a standoff with a gunman following a shooting that injured at least one person.
Bossier police and the Caddo Parish sheriff's office sent 34 units and Shreveport sent 18 medical units to the shooting scene just after 7 a.m. Monday following reports of a domestic dispute, reported the Shreveport Times.
Police found one shooting victim and possibly a second, according to reports.
The suspect barricaded himself inside a home with a long rifle, according to KSLA-TV.
Police said the man shot his neighbor and then went inside his own home, and officers said he fired multiple shots at them when they arrived at the scene, but none of them were injured.
