LOVE Island fans have worked out the ‘real reason’ Tyrique Hyde turned on Mitchel Taylor after their explosive Movie Night row.
During the shock screening, which revealed the Islanders’ Casa Amor antics, Mitch came under fire over his bad-mouthing of the other boys to win over some girls.
Sammy Root, Montel McKenzie and Zachariah Noble questioned his actions but it was Tyrique who fronted their ambush.
Semi-pro footballer Tyrique had claimed Mitch’s actions were “bottom of the barrel behaviour”, with Sammy adding, “It’s not really acceptable.”
Montel said: “Guys are normally more loyal to their boys,” and Zach even asked Mitch, “How you feeling snake boy?”
But viewers of the ITV2 show weren’t having it, taking to Twitter to vent their frustration.
One wrote, “As if they’re coming for Mitch, when what they’ve done is much worse, they just trying to make their own behaviour swept under the carpet. Ty sees Mitch as a threat now I feel. When they coming for Ty, they’re so up his a**e.”
Another added, “What is the point in rehashing all of Mitch’s antics..he had been caught out every time and confronted. Again Ty just stirring the boys…probably to distract from the fact that movie night showed how Ty moves.”
Someone else agreed, “Yup predictable: Tyrique is going after Mitch cuz he sees him as a threat now that he has a girl.”
Mitch is currently coupled up with Abi Moores while Ty has been left vulnerable by Ella Thomas.
Earlier this week, The Sun revealed that Movie Night leaves one girl in tears and a number of couples are ripped apart after a Casa Amor romp is revealed.
A source said: “Some of the cast have been acting like there weren’t cameras watching their every move.
“That is going to be very apparent soon when certain people’s actions play out on the big screen. It’s going to be messy.”
The show’s last Movie Night sparked almost 300 Ofcom complaints from shocked fans left furious over the fall-out.
