A 6.6 magnitude earthquake has struck in the open Atlantic Ocean and caused some buildings to lightly sway in the northern Caribbean. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake struck Monday at a shallow depth of six miles (10 kilometers). The epicenter was located some 170 miles (274 kilometers) north-northeast of Antigua and Barbuda. The earthquake was felt on several islands, including Puerto Rico. No damage was immediately reported.
