Following university, she studied drama at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York for one year.
After this she carved a successful career as a film and TV star.
Pia first shot to fame in 1998 when she played Karen Oldman in Neighbours.
After this she launched her film career with her role in the 2000 feature film Looking for Alibrandi.
