Chelsea Tell Player To Delay Return, Further Indication Of Sale Plans

 

Aubameyang’s future at Chelsea is under the scanner amid suggestions he will be sold in the ongoing transfer window.

 

Now in a further hint that Chelsea are planning for life without the former Arsenal hitman, he will not return to the club as had been planned.

 

 

It was originally planned for Aubameyang to report back to the club on Wednesday to start pre-season preparations.

 

Chelsea though have told the striker that he does not have to come back before next Monday.

 

 

The Blues may be hoping that they will be able to sell Aubameyang in the coming days, before he is due back.

 

The 34-year-old made 21 appearances for Chelsea over the course of last season and scored three goals.

 

 

He slipped firmly out of favour and his time at Stamford Bridge looks set to come to an end this summer.
