Triangle Update
With Harewood Bridge closing for four weeks at the end of July, the Triangle will move to different courses for August.
The calendar for the remainder of the season is below, and includes four courses. The details of the courses are also below.
The first two dates in August will take part on a new course, taking in part of the Pennypot Circuit. Due to their popularity last year, we’ve decided to run these as 2-Up road bike events. As a shorter course (~11.2km/7mile), these can provide a great opportunity for anyone new to time trialling to give it a go in a relaxed setting close to Otley. If you’re interested but can’t find anyone to race with, get in touch with the club or series organiser (liammealey@hotmail.com) and we’ll try and pair you up. Alternatively, if you do want to give it a go solo on this course, we’ll happily accomodate you.
Under CTT regulations, riders will require a helmet and front and rear lights, but otherwise any bike will do (accepting comment above about road bikes for 2-Up)
To help these events happen, we need a small number of volunteer marshals to add visibility at junctions. If you can spare about an hour on a Thursday evening, it would be most appreciated. Either add your name to this document or contact Liam Mealey.
