David Raya transfer news – next club odds: Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea trail Spurs in battle for Brentford keeper
TOTTENHAM are winning the battle to sign Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.
That’s according to Betfair, who’ve installed Spurs as 3/1 favourites to clinch his signature before the transfer window closes in September.

But this far from a one-horse race.
Chelsea (7/2), Arsenal (9/2) and Manchester United (11/2) are not far behind in the betting market.
There’s then a string of European clubs in behind, with PSG at 6/1, Bayern Munich at 10/1 and Juventus at 14/1.
Inter (18/1) and Aston Villa (40/1) bring up the rear.
Raya’s future is under the microscope after the goalkeeper rejected several contract offers from Brentford.

His deal is set to expire in June 2024, and he looks likely to leave the Gtech Community Stadium unless there’s a late U-turn.
Brentford are believed to value their stopper at £40million, despite the fact he’ll be eligible to leave on a free transfer next summer.
The Bees have already wrapped up the signature of Freiburg goalkeeper Mark Flekken as a replacement.
The situation has alerted Tottenham and several other top-flight clubs, with Spurs particularly eager to replace veteran Hugo Lloris between the sticks. Everton’s Jordan Pickford could also become an option for Spurs.
Andre Onana looks to be close to joining Man Utd but a failure to wrap that deal up could see United move for Raya, while Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino could be eager to make a move as a new number one.
