Leeds United Defender’s Elland Road Exit Almost Done

 

He is set to become the second Leeds loanee joining the Rome outfit after Diego Llorente this summer.

 

Following Leeds’ relegation, a host of players are set to leave Elland Road this summer and Kristensen is one of them.

 

 

He joined the Whites last year from Red Bull Salzburg on a five-year deal and made 30 appearances for them in all competitions.

 

Kristensen has little appetite to play in the English second tier and he is in favour of the move to play under Jose Mourinho.

 

 

Now the Danish right-back is very close to joining the Giallorossi on a season-long loan in the ongoing transfer window.

 

It has been suggested that the Dane has already agreed personal terms with the Italian outfit.

 

 

Mourinho is also an admirer of the versatile defender, who can play either full-back or centre-back.

 

And both clubs have been negotiating for several weeks to come to an agreement and now remains to be seen when the deal will be finalised.
