Records show that a man jailed on kidnapping and other charges after a Las Vegas Strip standoff that saw furniture flying from a 21st-floor window at Caesars Palace also faces a felony charge as a fugitive from another state. Authorities have scheduled a Wednesday court appearance for 35-year-old Matthew John Ermond Mannix of Golden, Colorado, on charges including coercion, property destruction and resisting arrest. Details of the fugitive charge were not immediately available. Records don't show whether Mannix has a lawyer yet. He's accused of forcing a woman into a room at Caesars Palace on Tuesday and refusing to surrender for more than five hours.
