2023 World Cup Group F preview: Brazil and France meet again after 2019 clash
Two teams from Group F have the talent to win it all this year, including Brazil, which has two top-three finishes in its World Cup history, and France, which owns the group’s best title odds.
They’re very familiar with one another too after France beat Brazil in the first round of the knockout stage at the 2019 World Cup before losing a close match to the U.S. in the quarterfinals. In fact, there’s a lot of familiarity within this group, as Jamaica lost a 3-0 match to Brazil in the group stage of the 2019 tournament.
The group’s fourth team, Panama, is making its World Cup debut.
