A MECHANIC with more than 55 years of experience has revealed a top tip to make your windscreen wipers ‘last forever.’
Scotty Kilmer, with millions of followers on social media, claims that his hack will save you a tidy sum in repairs and new wiper blades
TikTok user @scottykilmerofficial revealed that this hack also will stop your windscreen wipers from making annoying noises when you’re using them.
He explained: ” You’re going to do it by polishing your windshield. Now, we’re not waxing a windshield. This is not wax. This is a new finish polish. It polishes the glass.
“Not only does it get the dirt off, but it’s polishing to make the windshield as smooth as possible.
“You need to realise that your windshield wipers are naked rubber rubbing against glass.
“Guess what’s going to happen with dirt. It’s going to eat them up on a nice slippery surface. They’ll wipe the water off better, and they won’t wear the wipers out.
“Your friends might think you’re insane. Polishing your windshield? I say you’re insane if you don’t.”
