Las Vegas police executed a search warrant this week in connection with the still-unsolved killing of star rapper Tupac Shakur, the Associated Press reported.
According to the AP, police carried out the search warrant in connection to the cold case in Henderson, Nevada. It's not clear who or what location was targeted in the search warrant.
Shakur was fatally shot in a drive-by shooting in Las Vegas on the night of September 7, 1996. He was 25.
Las Vegas police didn't immediately provide a statement on the reported investigation. Nevada doesn't have a statute of limitations for homicide cases, according to the Associated Press.
