My money-saving cleaning tip uses ingredients you already have in your home – you’ll get a streak-free shine every time
A CLEANING influencer has shared her two-step method for making glass cleaner.
In her video, she demonstrated how viewers can make their own cleaning recipe by combining a few household ingredients.
The TikTok was shared by Clean With Christine (@cleanwithchristina), who has more than 50,000 followers on the video-sharing app.
The influencer frequently shares cleaning tips and lifestyle videos on her page.
The video opened with Christine showing a spread of cleaning products in front of her on a counter, along with a jug, spray bottle, and funnel.
The voiceover said: “Let me show you another money-saving cleaning tip!”
Christina held a bottle of rubbing alcohol up to the camera,
She then placed the funnel in the spray bottle and started to assemble the cleaner.
Overlaid text stated: “We are going to make homemade glass cleaner using ingredients you already have at home!”
Christina began to mix the ingredients, measuring and pouring them into the spray bottle.
“Mix three tablespoons of vinegar, two tablespoons of alcohol, and one cup of warm water,” she instructed.
She used the jug to add the water, then shook the spray bottle to mix, saying: “Just spray and wipe!”
The video concluded with Christina using her new glass cleaner to spray down a mirror, which is shown to be spotless post-cleaning.
The voiceover said: “Get a streak-free shine every time!”
Christina also shared an extra tip with her followers in the video caption: “To avoid particles on glass, use blue shop towels instead of paper towels!”
