Steve Smith Takes Fresh Dig At Alastair Cook Over Alex Carey’s Haircut Controversy
Steve Smith has taken a cheeky dig at former England captain Alastair Cook for his claims of Alex Carey not paying for his haircut. Smith took to his social media accounts and shared a picture of Carey with a new haircut.
The former captain captioned the post, “I can confirm that Alex Carey has now had a haircut and that he paid for it.”
For the unversed, Cook had claimed that Carey did not pay for his haircut in London. Cook’s allegations were brushed aside by Steve Smith who confirmed that Carey did not had any haircut during his stay in London . After investigation, it was found that it was not Alex Carey who had a haircut and Cook had to apologise for his false allegations.
Australia Announce Playing 11 For 4th Ashes Test
The Ashes 2023 is evenly poised, with England making a comeback into the series after winning the Headingley Test by 3 wickets. Meanwhile, Australia have announced their playing 11 for the Manchester Test.

“Davey didn’t have his best game last week at Headingley but prior to that, I think he’s looked really good – he’s had three fifty-run partnerships which can be rare over here in England,” Cummins told reporters at Old Trafford.
