Infantino warns that not all WWC2023 players will get their $30K prize money
July 19 – FIFA president Gianni Infantino has warned his organisation can’t guarantee that players will get their prize money at the Women’s World Cup.
In June, the world governing body announced that every player at the tournament would be paid at least $30,000 by FIFA, and the 23 players in the title-winning team will each get $270,000.
FIFA has increased prize money to $110 million for the Women’s World Cup and committed more than half of FIFA’s total prize money fund to the players in the 32 squads,
