Northrop Grumman to design autonomous vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for DARPA
Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) recently received a contract from the Defense Advanced Research Project Agency's (DARPA) Tactical Technology Office to develop an autonomous vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) uncrewed aircraft system. This innovative system is designed to be capable of operating from a moving Navy ship at sea, an ambitious feat that is a testament to Northrop Grumman's
