Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez fans think they’ve ‘worked out’ the name of their baby boy
FOLLOWERS of Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez have guessed what they think their new baby is named.
The actress announced today that they have welcomed their second child together.
Gemma, 38, and the Strictly Come Dancing pro, 32, already share daughter Mia together and have now added a bouncing baby boy to their growing family.
With the happy couple sharing the news on social media, it has sparked fans to speculate the name of their new arrival.
In a post of Gorka posed with Gemma’s ready-to-pop baby bump, made last week, the BBC star captioned the post: “Not long until We meet you mini G.”
Triggering their followers to guess the new baby’s name.
One speculated: “Mini G, so name chosen.”
Another added: “Think it just stands for Mini Gorka.”
Gorka’s captioned left fans thinking that his second child will be named Gorka, in tribute to him.
Another suggested: “I live in Spain and think you should consider Leo pronounced the Spanish way ‘Layo’ or Luis for ‘ little man ‘ they both go so nicely with Mia…good luck hope it happens soon.”
In a post this morning, Gemma wrote announced their wonderful news, writing: “Little man is here. He arrived safe and sound and he’s utterly wonderful. Mia is already the mother hen we expected her to be.
“We’re all home together soaking up this lovely little bubble before Gorks has to leave for Strictly rehearsals next week.
“Thank you for all your lovely well wishes. Our family is complete.”
Gemma previously admitted to fans that she was refusing to find out the exact date her little boy was due and would instead wait patiently.
She explained: “I’ve been asked this a lot but I’ve specifically asked for a time frame instead of a due date for a few reasons… 1. I think we become too obsessed with that one day.
“If there arrive before or after that day we start ‘they are late or early panic / anxiety’. So with that in mind I’ve asked for a ‘timeframe’.
“I’ve been told any time from the back few weeks in June to the front few weeks in July he could be coming. Happier me that way as I’m more chilled and accepting of he’ll come when he’s ready.”
