The Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) on Wednesday said that Unit 1 of the ‘Muela power station has returned to service following a successful restoration. The unit, which experienced an unexpected breakdown on June 18, 2022, has been fully repaired and is operational as of July 13, 2023.
