Love Island’s Scott reveals regret over cruel prank he played on Catherine in Casa Amor
LOVE Island star Scott van-der-Sluis has admitted he was wrong to play a cruel prank on Catherine Agbaje during their time on the show.
As the dust from this year’s series settles, Scott has confessed that he has regret over his attempt at “sabotage”, which took place during Casa Amor.
Catherine and girls suddenly sneaked off to the second villa for the three-day challenge, meaning the boys had to pack their suitcases for them.
But instead of packing something “sentimental” for Catherine, Scott just filled her case with “a load s***”.
Scott, 22, admits he now feels bad for loading the estate agent up with random clothes and shoes and has admitted he was wrong to do it.
Speaking to ODE, the professional footballer recalled: “I was just packing the biggest load of s*** ever.
“I was just…I’m going to pack the worst possible stuff here. I don’t want her to have anything.
“There’s six boys who are going to be sticking it on you, I do not want you to have anything at all.”
However, he continued: “Now, don’t get me wrong, Catherine’s right. I should have packed something sentimental.
“I completely forgot about it. It never crossed my mind when it should have.
“But it was just a matter of just packing the biggest load of s*** ever. I do not want her to have anything that she could possibly look good in or make her even more attractive in.
“I was absolutely trying to sabotage her in Casa.”
Amusingly, Scott’s plan backfired and 22-year-old Catherine returned from Casa Amor with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson on her arm.
The pair were, however, dumped from the villa just a short time later and have since split.
Scott, meanwhile, went on to pair up with Abi Moores in Love Island, but he friend-zoned her before they were dumped last week.
But all might not be lost for Scott and Catherine.
On Monday night, the pair reunited an ITV party to watch the Love Island final and were snapped together at the bash.
