From August 5th, online passport applicants will be required to upload the necessary supporting documents in 'DigiLocker' before submitting online applications at Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) and post office centres. This process aims to reduce processing times and the need for physical document verification by officials, ultimately improving the speed at which passport application submissions are processed.
