Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO) has implemented 14 smart pedestrian crossing systems in partnership with Derq. The AI algorithms can detect and track vehicles approaching the crosswalk, while behavior prediction models allow the technology to activate warning signs and even traffic signal controllers, preempting any potential conflicts.
