Bride blasts groom’s ‘disrespectful’ ex wife over wedding picture – but people say SHE’S in the wrong
A BRIDE has branded her fiance’s ex-wife as “disrespectful” over a wedding picture – but people think it’s really HER who’s in the wrong.
The woman had been helping her partner clear out his home when she stumbled across pictures from his first wedding.
And she was outraged when she saw his ex sitting on the best man’s knee.
Taking to social media, she said: “My soon-to-be hubby has been married before and we recently cleared out his house and found his old wedding photos.
“Being nosey, I had to have a look and seen pictures of the bride sitting on the best man’s knee, who is also my man’s brother.”
“I have been married before and I wouldn’t have dreamt of sitting on another man’s knee, never mind my new brother in law’s”, she fumed.
“I checked on Google to see if this is common but it doesn’t appear so.
“Just wondering if this is something that people do?
“Sitting on another man’s knee at your wedding is something I can’t get my head around. Surely it’s disrespectful to the new hubby?”
But the bride didn’t get the response she was hoping for, as social media users insisted it’s actually her behaviour that’s disappointing.
One said: “Just because you wouldn’t [do it] doesn’t mean others don’t. Doesn’t have to be sexual or sinister intent, it can be fun and playful.”
A second asked: “I don’t mean to sound confrontational or cheeky, but what does it matter?
“Your wedding is your wedding, does it matter what anyone else does at theirs?”
A third wrote: “Why do you care? He’s no longer with her, he’s marrying you. What she did at her wedding to him whenever it was is over and done, so why are you giving it any thinking time?”
Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Each to their own. I’d find it more disappointing my new partner looking through my past sentiments. Maybe you want to paint her in a bad light for some reason?”
