PLENTY of savvy parents do their Christmas shopping in the summer months – it’s when retailers slash prices to get rid of seasonal stock in time for the next load.
And it turns out, iconic toy store The Entertainer is delivering bargains on bargains at the moment.
Mums have taken to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to reveal they have sorted Santa sacks already.
The best bit? You don’t even have to leave the house as the hefty discounts are also available online.
Karen Moxon was able to make a start on Christmas stockings for just short of £37 in The Entertainer’s Barnsley store.
She picked up Pixar toys, a mermaid doll and a Rukus FX handheld speaker for a cool £36.98.
Kay Stro was able to sort out a mountain of presents for her daughter’s upcoming birthday for £95.
She nabbed backpacks, squishy toys, Disney dolls, a Barbie scrunchie maker kit and a number of home craft sets – including one to make a unicorn cushion.
“The Entertainer has got some brilliant offers at the moment,” Kay wrote in a post. “Up to 75% off some items.
“I managed to get this tower of 13 gifts for less than £95 (plus free delivery) for my little girl’s upcoming birthday.
“Maybe useful to those with celebrations coming up or who want to be organised early for Christmas.”
In The Entertainer’s Preston store, Sammie Jay found Pixar movie toys based on Lightyear, a spin-off of the Toy Story film series.
She posted about Buzz Lightyear figurines for just £14.99 – a whopping 70% cheaper than the original price of £49.99.
Parents with Barbie-loving children and a bit more cash to spare can pick up a Barbie Day to Night Dreamhouse Playset for £169.99, down from £309.99.
