Xiaomi on Tuesday introduced its most affordable 5G smartphone so far, priced under ₹12,000 and made even more affordable with exchange and bank discounts. The erstwhile top smartphone brand of the country saw another 23% year-on-year decline in shipments in the second quarter even as the premium segment registered 112% on-year growth, according to Counterpoint Research.
