Ooof: Trump Attorney Says The Quiet Part Out Loud To Reporters
I'm pretty sure the thrice-indicted former President isn't going to like what his attorney Alina Habba said outside the court while he was pleading not guilty to four charges. She said, "I think everyone was made aware that he lost the election."
"There's testimony, and there's a number of aides that have said that the president was made aware that he lost the election and yet continued to argue that it was stolen from him," a reporter said. "How do you reconcile those two things?"
"Well, I think that everybody was made aware that he lost the election, but that doesn't mean that that was the only advice he was given," she said out loud. As anybody understands what happens in the Oval Office, there are a numerous amount of advisors and politicians, and lawyers, not just one or two, that are giving you advice and telling you what they believe is true."
She wasn't done.
And then Habba seemed to suggest that if Trump honestly thought (he knows he lost the election) he won the election, then problem solved! No crime was committed.
