Fashion fans are flocking to Primark to get their hands on a summer staple that’s just £1 but you’ll need to be quick
IT’S a summer wardrobe staple.
But finding a perfect denim skirt can be a long, and expensive, process.
So it’s understandable that fashion fans are racing to Primark after spotting skirts reduced to just a pound.
Diane took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share a picture of the skirt she’d seen on sale.
“Denim skirts in Primark £1 all different sizes too!” she wrote.
Her snap showed a denim mini in a size 8, which had been reduced to £1 from £10 – a massive 90% discount.
Other people were quick to comment on the post, with one writing: “I saw these £6 in Portsmouth store x I was gonna get the white one.”
“Seen these but none in my size,” another sighed.
“Only had a size 6 in them in my Primark.”
It seems that Primark has reduced a load of items to just a pound ahead of the summer we’re all still waiting for.
Paige was delighted when she came across the Straw Bucket bag – which was deemed the “perfect beach bag” – reduced from £10 to just £1.
Fellow shoppers dubbed the handbag – made from 100% paper – “gorgeous” and were envious of her being in the “right place at the right time” to nab it.
“Nothing screams summer more than a woven bag, which is why you need to add this straw bucket bag to your collection,” Primark bosses said in their product description.
“Working as both a beach bag and everyday accessory, the woven detailing gives it rustic charm.
“While the neutral tones mean it can easily be incorporated into your daily style.”
Paige also nabbed a discounted kitchen storage jar – reduced to £5 from £9 – while other people have taken to the Facebook group to boast about their bargain finds in the store.
These include Marvel fleece hooded throws for boys down to £7 from £16, bucket hats for £3.50 and Barbie-esque heels for £3.
