The Supreme Court on Friday appointed former Delhi HC judge Justice Jayant Nath as interim chairperson of Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC). Earlier, on July 20, the top court had mulled over appointing an ad-hoc DERC chairman after the LG and the Delhi government failed to reach a consensus on who should head regulatory body.
