But the owners see the city of Birmingham as their investment not Birmingham City FC in isolation I suspect
A new stadium next to HS2 will bring in far more other revenue streams with better transport and parking options….. concerts Exhibitions etc that aren’t available to them at our current home….. they want world class not an upgrade….. IMO
This. I'd happily stay at St Andrews and keep a modest yet renovated stadium but it doesn't work in modern football. And I wonder whether it wouldn't cost much less to bring Stans up to modern standards than simply selling it off and building anew.
