India and Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries have been urged to speak as one voice globally and conduct trade in local currencies, according to Meenakshi Lekhi, Minister of State at India's Ministry of External Affairs. Lekhi called for closer ties between the two regions and highlighted the 9th CII India-LAC Conclave as an opportunity to increase engagement.
