Twenty railway stations in Jharkhand will undergo redevelopment under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme at a cost of Rs 886.7 crore. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone virtually for 508 stations in 27 states, including Hatia and Piska in Jharkhand. Hatia station will be redeveloped at a cost of Rs 355 crore, featuring a 5-story building, 10 lifts, six escalators, a green energy building, and water recycling.
