Adam Barlow takes drastic action to make cheating wife Sarah Platt jealous in Coronation Street
SARAH Platt’s marriage with Adam Barlow is hanging by a thread after the pair found out she was pregnant.
The Coronation Street solicitor makes matters worse when he tries to make his bride jealous next week.
Earlier this year, Sarah (portrayed by soap legend Tina O’Brien) embarked on a steamy affair with Damon Hay.
She eventually came clean to her husband Adam (Sam Robertson) and the solicitor retaliated by hatching a plan to get rid of Damon permanently.
Things took another turn when Sarah found out she was pregnant and had no clue who the father could be.
Adam was clear – they’d only be keeping and raising the baby if it turned out to be his.
In recent scenes, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) helped his niece by faking paternity test results to satisfy Adam after Sarah found out Damon was most likely the father of her unborn child.
But next week on the ITV soap, things are far solved between Adam and Sarah.
In the Rovers backyard, an already tipsy Adam tells Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) that he’s heading into town to get drunk and forget about the last few weeks.
Could he be making a mistake?
This remains to be seen but, later on, a dishevelled Adam returns from his night out.
In a bid to make Sarah jealous, he tells Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) that he had a great night and didn’t get much sleep.
But how will Sarah react to Adam’s night out?

Damon skipped town after Adam unleashed an angry Niall on him.
After finding out that Damon had an affair with Sarah, Adam told Niall his love rival was planning to grass on him to the police.
Fearing his days may be numbered, Damon left Weatherfield in a hurry, but not before trying to reach out to Sarah in vain.
Could there be more to Sarah and Damon’s fling?
